In 2014, this Brooklyn-based start-up geared up for the launch of their social live chat application, but needed a web presence to help demonstrate the product and its benefits to publishers and consumers. So Nowtalk consulted with us to enhance their presence on the web.
We turned a previously abandoned company blog into a content-rich, dynamic and coherent site that quickly and effectively expressed the purpose and product benefits of Nowtalk’s innovative chat application.
Collaboration with a tech visionary
Our in-person meetings with founder, Abie Axen, were key in designing and developing concepts, and ultimately a web site and brand story that captured his passion, tech-savvy and the purpose of the chat application. The assignment was a complete overhaul of the prior user experience (UX), and we developed a site that received high praise from Nowtalk’s investors and publication partners who signed up for the application following our push for clarity and visual consistency on the web site of this promising product.
Laying a clear path for the future
With the growth and increased public interest around the application, we also defined and developed clear brand guidelines for Nowtalk. Covering everything from color usage, logo do’s and don’ts, as well as suggested experience design for the desktop and mobile interface of the product, defining clear rules for the brand proved integral as the brand grew among national online publications and users.
